Award time!
We’re honoured and excited to have been nominated for two categories at the UK Running Awards.
The winners are decided by public vote – which means you can help us bring home the prize.
We have been nominated for Best New Event and Best International Event. This is a huge honour for us and we’d like to thank everyone that submitted us, and everyone that has voted already.
The winners will be announced at a big celebration gala in the O2 Arena London (formerly the Millennium Dome for those that remember it!) on 22nd April 2016, and our fingers are tightly crossed.
As an international marathon, it’s more of a challenge for people to participate than for a race just down the road or in the next town or city. However, many people relish the thought of taking on a marathon in Africa – it’s a bucket list dream. We are not only the most affordable way to do it for people in the UK, Europe and beyond, but also the best.
Our feedback from last year’s runners (and these nominations) has proved that we are really on to something with the week long adventure in Uganda combined with a beautiful, scenic and fun race course through rolling hills on the Equator.
