We’re only a few days away now from the 7-day Adventure and preparations are now in full swing! The team are busy readying the event for this year’s 150 International Runners, whilst Masaka town is literally buzzing in anticipation to welcome them.

In 4 days time, they’ll visit and volunteer at the projects they’ve been fundraising for, stay at a beautiful campsite in the hills of Uganda and race an unforgettable course. For those 150 people lucky enough to attend, it will truly be ‘a race like no other’.

But until then, here’s our latest photoblog to give you some insight into the preparations currently going on and a sneak peek of what’s to come…

The children at Creative Canvas, a project set up by some of our 2015 runners, have been making bracelets for this year’s participants. (You’ll get to visit this project on Thursday!)

Talking of camp, ‘Gertrude the Goat’ is waiting at camp too, after being named by one of our 2016 runners for fundraising the most in a week and winning one of our weekly competitions.

Our staff have been busy travelling around the Masaka area, signing up locals for the 10K, 21K and 42K to join our International Runners. There are already more than last year, with a week to go!
